I am an orthopedic physician assistant with 14 years of experience treating musculoskeletal injuries. I currently practice in the Orthopedics Now department at one of the nation’s leading hospitals, where I evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions — including pediatric injuries. My work centers on helping patients return safely and confidently to the activities they love.
My path to medicine was not linear. I grew up as a dancer, attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and training at The Ailey School. That experience gave me firsthand insight into what it means to push your body to its limits, to suffer an injury, and to live with the uncertainty of not knowing when — or if — you will return to what defines you. That perspective shapes every patient interaction I have.
Academically, I hold dual bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sports Science/Athletic Training and Health Science/Physician Assistant Studies. My clinical training and years in orthopedic practice allow me to guide families through injuries with clarity, evidence-based care, and realistic expectations.
Yet the credential that informs my work most deeply isn’t framed on a wall — it’s motherhood. I am a soccer mom. My pre-teen plays competitive soccer, and I have stood on the sideline watching my child go down, navigating the same fear and uncertainty I see in the families I treat.
That dual perspective — provider in the exam room and parent on the sideline — is the foundation of Match Fit. I understand the clinical realities of youth sports injuries, and I understand the emotional weight they carry. I built Match Fit because I live this experience alongside the families I serve.
